The canals and the valley of the Nonette are like the lawn or the forest, sites characteristic of our cantilian landscape. Since the seventeenth century, this valley has never ceased to be developed, transformed, used by its inhabitants attracted by water, source of life, energy and hygiene. From the driving force of the Manse Machine to the family gardens, including the Factories, a speaker "City of Art and History", join you to discover the uses and the place of the Nonette in the daily life of the Cantilians.

About the location

Pavillon de Manse - Moulin des princes

The Detached house(Flag) of Manse and its machine of the XVIIth century served in water the garden of "Big(Great) Waters" drawn by ours for the prince de cop. Its élévatoire machine, contemporary of that of Marly was rebuilt as before. The show of impressive wooden mechanics is admired by all. The Detached house(Flag) of Manse appears in all splendour of its fair stones.
