During your visit, you will be unveiled a prestigious building, inscribed in the additional inventory of Historical Monuments, and which, before becoming the place of reception of the See of State Services in the Oise, was that of the canons regular of the order of Saint Augustine. You can discover the courtyard of honour, the facade of the abbey palace, the office of the prefect, the chapel of the abbot, the various salons and furniture.

Old(Former) augustine abbey, based(established) by 1067, the abbey Saint-Quentin of Beauvais knew a flourishing development in the course of Middle Ages. It lives(remains) of notables elements in spite of important refittings(reorganisations) and the post-revolutionary reconstructions, old(former) abbey having become in 1824 the Hotel of the prefecture. The park is also a remarkable element.
