Founded eleven years before the Père-Lachaise cemetery in Paris, the Saint-Just cemetery tells the story of two centuries of burials. At the foot of the city’s ramparts, on uneven ground, some tombs present a very varied array of funeral architectures and tell individual or family stories. Routes punctuated by stages reveal some of these little-known treasures.
