Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September the Ascq Memorial 1944 takes you to the key sites of the Ascq Massacre. On reservation During this guided tour through the streets of Ascq, you will discover the sites of the tragedy: location of the sabotage, station square, center of Ascq. Stops in front of some slaughterhouses will allow you to apprehend the fear experienced by the population of Ascq. It will also be an opportunity to discover how the memory of this event is inscribed throughout the village. For the children, a map of the village of Ascq in 1944 will be provided. They will be able to fill it out as and when they find the places presented.
