Music, sounds, songs mixed with stories for a journey full of humor and sensitivity in children’s literature.
The Oratory is also open for a free visit Sunday 18 September from 2pm to 6pm. Inaugurated in 1983, this ecumenical sanctuary, designed by the architect M. Salembier, is located at the bottom of the end of the pedestrian road in Venice Square. An eight-pointed star obtained by the superposition of two squares offset by a quarter of a turn, this oratory (place intended for prayer) is perfectly symmetrical. This arrangement makes it possible to locate the altar in the centre of the building, in an excavated part, and the bleachers on the periphery. The building ends with a bell tower with large oval openings that allow natural lighting of the altar.
