On the occasion of this new edition of the European Heritage Days, enjoy this place full of history. Start your visit with the commented 3D restitution of the forum to understand its monumental size. Then take a guided tour of the archaeological site, and stroll under its covered route of 6400 m2! Continue the experience in the Roman garden around stands discovering ancient plants: pharmacopoeia and perfumes, techniques of dyeing, method of vinification and presentation of condiments are to be discovered.

The ancient forum of Bavay is the biggest(greatest) the put in day north of Paris, real heart of the capital of Nerviens. The museum suggests to the visitors plunging into the everyday life(daily paper) of the Gallo-Romans of the city(estate) of Nerviens. He(It) concentrates more than 600 objects coming from archaeological excavations(searches) of which splendid set(group) of bronze statuettes, vases(muds) with characteristic bust of local production. The museum also proposes a reconstruction 3D of forum thanks to the movie "Return in Bagacum II".
