Opening Saturday at 6.30pm
This great event continues the dynamic set up by the Grand Bassin and offers visitors an encounter with contemporary textile creation in its richness and diversity. The twenty artists selected will have a defined space to create their ideal gallery to present their work and their singular universe.
Two prizes will be awarded: that of La Manufacture giving rise to a monographic exhibition in the 2023 program of the museum and that of the gallery Lieux Communs de Namur. From September 17 to October 31, 2022, the biennial will take place throughout the museum.
Echoing the European Heritage Days on the theme of sustainable heritage as well as the exhibition of the winners of the Circular Fashion Awards, the biennial will be tinged with ecological topics and sustainable developments. During the European Heritage Days the public will be able to meet the artists present.
