Through the presentation of the remarkable pieces of the Compiégnoises collections and the loans of the museums of Hauts-de-France and Normandy, the exhibition retraces the roads and reveals the interpretations of an imperishable material, at the origin of ritual objects, decorative or utilitarian that have marked the history of art and crafts around the world.
