Circuit by the heritage mission of the direction of culture and international relations of the City of Dunkerque
To rebuild the city of Dunkerque, Théodore Leveau took over the pre-war route and decided to group the buildings in blocks. It thus creates common interior spaces, often intimate as they are not visible from the street. This principle, taken up by Jean Niermans, was put in place from the first constructions along the Canal Exutoire. This walk will make you discover the unsuspected beauty of these islets with green spaces. All public
