The mediators of the museum and the agents of the Departmental Service of Archaeology of the Oise (SDAO) will carry out demonstrations of techniques used by prehistoric men throughout the weekend.
Visitors will be able to discover the lighting of a fire, the cutting of flint, the polishing of stone or even the shooting at the sagaie.

The archaeological museum of the Oise is rich in the furniture discovered during 30 years by researches(searches) on the Gallo-Roman town(conglomeration) of Vendeuil-Caply (objects of the everyday life, sculptures, wall paintings(paints)). The Centre of Preservation and of Study, structure dependent on the regional Service(Department) of archaeology, includes reserves for the archaeological furniture, working zone on objects, Documentation Centre. Associated with the museum, he allows the mutualisation of ways(means) and of skills for preservation, study, accessibility to the researchers, the scientific promotion(valuation) of these furnitures coming from operations of preventive archaeology.
