By Patrick Raguet, local historian and Sylvie Bersillon, museum manager In 2021, the donation of a Monégoasque apartment to the city of Caudry revealed the entrepreneurial success of the couple formed by Louis Sandras and the unknown seamstress, originally from Caudry, Héléna Beauvilain, installed Place Vendôme in the 1930s.
