Carmel de Saint-Saulve
An exhibition in 14 panels presents the origins of the project, the designers, and details the different elements of the construction, the furniture and the symbolism of the place.
The chapel of the Carmel of Saint-Saulve, built between 1964 and 1966, is a remarkable example of architecture-sculpture, the first sculpture dedicated to the sacred in France. Designed by Pierre Szekely (sculptor) and Claude Guislain (architect). The chapel has been listed as a Historic Monument since May 7, 2002.
