After the discovery of the work of the artist Josephine Kaeppelin who created 13 work blouses decorated with words found in the archives, the children are invited to question themselves by the game on the notion of work, then combine the words and shapes of a pattern on fabric.

Building(Ship) builds in several phases: On 1864 (current hall of exhibition(exposure)) then 1866-1876 then 1891 and finally 1905 (2 crenellated towers marking the entrance(entry) of the factory on the boulevard). The national archives of the working world are installed(settled) in the old(former) cotton shadowing Motte-Bossuet, real castle of the industry mixing(involving) neo-medieval architecture and English industrial architecture of the XIXth century. Rehabilitation between 1989 and 1993 by the architect Alain Sarfati.
