The small architects reconstruct the buildings of the Delloye pit with wooden laths.

Installed on the tile of the Delloye pit, in the middle of the buildings that compose it, the children discover the various mining infrastructures and become in turn small architects by reconstituting them with wooden laths.

Located in Lewarde, in 8km east of Douai in the North, the Mining Historic Centre is at the heart of the mineral basin. It is installed(settled) on tile(window pane) of the old(former) pit Delloye which groups(includes) 8000m ² industrial buildings(ships) and superstructures, on a 8 hectare site. It is classified as "Historic Monument" since September, 2009.
