The Municipal Archives of Cambrai offer you an introduction to illumination in the framework of the former convent of the Recollets. This exceptional workshop will introduce you to the traditional techniques of making pigments and gold leaf, as they were practiced in the Middle Ages. This workshop does not require any particular skill, except patience and thoroughness.
