A playful discovery of the archives

Librarians propose a discovery of the mysterious universe of archives. The children will get carried away in the album «Archives detective» of Nancy Guilbert before immersing themselves in the photographs, the postcards... through the game.

The Library(Bookcase) of Town(Conglomeration) was done up in the buildings(ships) of the old(former) middle school(college) of the Walloon Jesuits of which the room of classes, rebuilt in 1893\. In 1997, a contemporary wing was added. The site joins therefore in the four centuries of architecture. Indoors, the room of heritage receives the old(former) woodworks of the library(bookcase) of the abbey Saint-Bertin, and groups(includes) numerous manuscripts and incunabulum of which a volume of the famous Bible in 42 lines of Gutenberg.
