Come and discover the monument bearing the national recognition granted to Joan of Arc, overlooking the village of Domrémy-la-Pucelle.

In 1881, the foundation stone of the Basilica of Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc, also known as the Chenu Wood Basilica, was laid near the place where Jeanne would have heard her voices.
We owe the construction of this building to the architect Paul Sédille, while the paintings inside the basilica, representing the life of Joan of Arc, were designed by Lionel Royer.
