A historic site of the potash in Alsace: Joseph Vogt is an industrialist implied(involved) in research(search) and exploitation(operation) of the oil in Alsace. The first mining company(society), Gewerkschaft Amélie comes into the world in 1906\. The Appearances(Mines) of Kali saint Theresa (KST), French company(society) of right(straight) German in 1910 will follow. The appearance(mine) which is going to occupy more than 1000 people, in day and at the bottom, stops its activity in 1976, after the extraction of 39,5 million tons of raw ore. Both wells are filled in in 1984\. The Ecomuseum comes purchaser of the site to safeguard it. Are kept(preserved): two shoring and two machines of extraction, two sheds of storage, an old(former) shed of crystallisation, the mill, the building(ship) of mixtures and the tours(towers,ballots) of load of the ore as well as railroad tracks harming(serving) the site.
The Group association Rodolphe presents a project declined in four poles(centres): ● a pole(centre) works: restoration(catering) and interview(maintenance) of machines and installations of the site ● a tourist and cultural pole(centre) ● an educational pole(centre) with documentary centre, welcome(reception) of school, students, researchers, historians, publications and workshops(studios) of heritage ● an economic pole(centre) to promote certain buildings(ships).
