Guided by reconstructions of the monument that superimpose the past on the present, the visitor will discover exemplary military architecture and water management, and will immerse himself in the history of the family saga in the gallery of ancestors.
Then, he will free his imagination by progressing through the extraordinary maze of rooms and stairs in the very heart of the sandstone and reach the summit, not without admiring the prowess of the builders of yesteryear.
Then the sublime landscapes of the parks of the Vosges du Nord and the Palatinate are offered to him.
A visit document is given to the ticket office and a guide present in the grounds of the monument is at your disposal for any further explanation.

Fleckenstein, emblematic giant of Vosges of the North sets himself up as sentry on the line of defence which protected the imperial palaces of the Hohenstaufen de Haguenau and of Kaiserslautern. Idyllisch zwischen Nordvogesen und Pfalz erhebt sich die symbolträchtige Felsenburg Fleckenstein auf der Verteidigungslinie zwischen den Stauferpfalzen Kaiserlautern und Hagenau. Die Anlage, greyish Stammsitz der Familie 1680, zeichnet sich durch ihr gut durchdachtes Verteidigungssystem und die beispielhafte Wasserversorgung, aus. Sie wird ohne Widerstand von den Truppen des Sonnenkönigs eingenommen und zerstört. Zeichnerische Rekonstruktionen ermöglichen den Besuchern den Vergleich of heutigen Zustands put dem der stolzen Festung vergangener Zeiten, sie gelangen dabei in das durch greyish Gänge und Treppen Innerste des Felsens nach ganz oben.
