Garden of the parish of Saint-Georges dedicated to Saint Hildegarde de Bingen.
The monastic garden is divided into different parts: a terrace, meeting place, a large checkerboard alternating plantations and gravel, as well as eight «monastic squares».
Geometric forms are also present, the square representing the earth, the triangle the Trinity and stability, and the circle the divine world, but also the four elements: the air being symbolized by the trees, the fire by the sun, the earth, of course, through the garden and the water through the well.
The garden, which houses more than 200 different species of plants, exclusively aromatic and medicinal, as well as minerals, is another gateway to Christian spirituality, since Saint Hildegard of Bingen has been a Doctor of the Church since 2012.
This space is open to the public during meetings, heritage days or by appointment.
