Come and discover the castle of La Motte-Tilly, bequeathed by the Marquise de Maillé at the Centre des monuments nationaux. An 18th century castle that belonged to the same family until 1972.
In 1754, Abbé Joseph Terray, the future comptroller general of finances of Louis XV, had the present castle built. Entirely refurbished in the 20th century, the house is surrounded by a 60 ha. park and an area of 1,080 ha.
Usually, the castle can only be visited on a guided tour. During the European Heritage Days, it is open free of charge and on a free visit for a first discovery of this heritage.
