The building housing the audience hall of the CRC Grand Est is the former Logis of the Governor of the Citadel of Metz (documents provided by the Departmental Archives Service). The CRC Grand Est right-of-way allows the view of the gable of Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains, inaccessible from the street.
