Walk in the footsteps of the miners of the dukes of Lorraine and spend more than an hour underground to discover an amazing heritage dug in the granite between 1560 and 1761.
In the Rouge-Montagne mine, equipped with a helmet and a headlamp, you will reach the heart of the underground network.
The visit of the mine (2h) is completed by an exhibition: equipment, tools, models, videos.
Open all year round. Helmet and lighting provided - Provide good shoes. Booking essential.

The appearances(mines) of Thillot still called Hautes-Mynes, train(form) a site of extraction of copper exploited(run) between 1560 and 1761 by the dukes of Lorraine. The mining network extends over the municipalities of Thillot and of Fresse-sur-Moselle. They Appearance(Mine) St Nicholas' Day and Appearance(Mine) of Hinguené are listed(classified), and them Appearance(Mine) Saint Thomas and Appearance(Mine) Saint-Charles are registered, in conformance with(for) historic monuments since 1995.
