Hugues-Plomb Square is in the very centre of Epernay. It is surrounded by buildings with typical local architecture.
Hugues-Plomb Square was for a long time called Notre-Dame Square and was the meeting place and markets. Since its rehabilitation in 2000, the market has moved, but a large fountain, dating from 1863, has been restored and now sits in the middle of the square.
