The bottom of the Andecy valley in the town of Baye has been home to an abbey since the 12th century. History has done its work, but the present site is still dedicated to the prayer of the church.
The dovecote hasn’t had a roof for over a century. A restoration is under consideration with the Heritage Foundation with the participation of the Bern Mission.
The contemporary bioclimatic chapel blends harmoniously into this historic space. This construction meeting the current criteria of energy saving is to know.
Departures of visits: 15h, 16h and 17h.
