Visit of the Military Governor’s Command House.

Discover the renovated rooms of the building, furnished and decorated with pieces of national furniture as well as works from national factories and museums.
Venture into the park, home to centuries-old trees, including rare species. Observe the remains of the portal of the Benedictine abbey of Sainte-Marie and the ramparts of Metz, including two levels buried from the Tower of Hell.

The palace of the Governor, conscript in the past General-Kommando, is a residence built in Metz, between 1902 and 1905, to serve as pied-a-terre to the emperor Guillaume II. It is located small public garden Giraud in the southwest of the district of Metz-Centre, but rest historically bound(connected) to the imperial district further east. The Palace is registered on the additional inventory of historic monuments since 1975.
