I don’t like the end of things in general. The end of holidays, school year, birthdays, Christmas meals, a relationship. I’m nostalgic and the end of things makes me sad. That it’s gone too fast, that it’s already over, that we can’t relive a moment, go back, go back to the beginning, start over. When it’s done, it’s done. There will be other school years, other birthdays, other holidays and other family Christmas, but those that have passed have passed. That’s the way it is, and there’s nothing we can do about it. Time goes by and his sentence is irrevocable. It puts pressure. To do well, not to make mistakes, to make the right decisions and then to appreciate the present moments too, without living it thinking that they will end. Without living them thinking we’re all gonna die.
Maybe that’s why I love looking at my pictures. Sometimes in the evening I take them out of my box, I spread them on my bed and I look at them crying.» - Lucie Morel

The one that, because popular, carries within it the complex attributes of our collective history. These photographs that go a little beyond us in what they mean, show, underline, draw.
Those that, as Michel Frizot points out, overflow with themselves. They echo our collective imagination. With them, the access to the memory of feelings remains open. Here, we invite ourselves to this birthday table, to this sledge ride, to this wedding. There, in the middle of the Sunday table, to smell the smells.
The family photo album does not teach a lesson, does not look too far, does not judge. The protagonists have both feet in their present, without worrying about the next page and their
