Come and discover the paintings of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries executed in tempera.
At a time unknown to us, they were covered with a brush. It was not until 1845 that, during a scrape on the apse, they were discovered and brought up to date by Abbé Schnabel, parish priest from 1840 to 1891. It was the Messian painter Malardot who was commissioned to restore them. The work lasted 20 years.
From January 2002 to December 2004, the paintings were completely cleaned.
