At the time of Jehanne, the villages of Greux and Domremy were united in the same parish. In 1635, the church under the dedication of Saint Maurice burned after the Thirty Years' War and was rebuilt in 1733. A few years later, Joan of Arc will be brought to light through splendid stained glass windows telling her story.
