Église Saint-Laurent

The church Saint Laurent(Lawrence) of Rieux contains a Gothic chorus(choir) of the 13th century considered by Violet-le-Duc as a perfect example of Gothic champenoise architecture. The nave is rebuilt in the XVIth century. Among the furniture, a bench of work in oak sculpted of the XVIth century is raised(found) containing ten panels(signs) in the motives for chimeras with body of fishes and dolphins(heirs apparent) as well as the polychrome statues of the XVIth century of saint Quentin and saint Laurent.
