This proposal includes a thematic programme Spotlight on the Récollets including the visit of the church and cloister and the workshops of artists installed in the cloister and the presentation of the site of the future Office de Tourisme du pays de Saverne as well as the archaeological excavation site conducted in summer 2022 by Alsace Archaeology.

Church and cloister built in 1303 after the installation of the hospitaller brothers of the convent of Obersteigen. The church has no transept and the nave is covered with a simple ceiling and no decoration. This corresponds to the ideal of the mendicant orders. The furniture dates mainly from the 18th century (high altar, altar, organs) and the 19th century (stalls and panelling, pulpit, altars and altarpieces).
