Take advantage of the visit of the church to discover six newly restored paintings reintegrated into the church after more than 80 years of absence!
The Carignan Collegiate Church, although partially destroyed and rebuilt on many occasions, dates back to the Middle Ages. You can still see several Gothic windows and four of the eight original chapels.
During this visit, it will be possible to admire a set of statues from the 14th to the 19th century, as well as several paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries.
Six of these paintings, recently restored, will be visible for the first time in the collegiate church after an absence of more than eighty years. They had, in fact, been sheltered in 1939 and had never been put back in place since.
