The museum of the Fine Arts of the City of Strasbourg presents a panorama fascinate the history(story) of the painting(paint) in Europe of its beginnings in 1870: Italian and Flemish Primitives (Giotto, Memling); Renaissance and Mannerism (Botticelli, Raphael, Véronèse, Lucas de Leyde, Greco); the Baroque, Naturalism and Classicism in XVIITH AND XVIII18E s. (Rubens, Vouet, Zurbaran, The Belle Strasbourgeoise de Largillière, Canaletto, Tiepolo, Goya); the XIXth century s. (Delacroix, Chasseriau, Coburp, Courbet).
