This tour takes you to the discovery of the ancient medieval city of the twelfth century.
Liverdun was the main stronghold of the Bishop’s Palace of Toul. As the summer residence of the bishops, the city was already appreciated for its way of life. A city classified as a tourist town for its many historical monuments, Liverdun has managed to preserve the buildings built at different times: Middle Ages and Renaissance mainly.
The route highlights the High Gate, the Governor’s House, the Hotel Blouët de Camilly, the Church of Saint Peter with the enfeu of Saint Euchaire. The place of the fountain presents numerous niches of corners sheltering statuettes of the Middle Ages.
