In the high gardens of the Governor’s Palace, a guided and group tour will allow you to descend into the depths of the ramparts of the city of Metz to discover one of the first artillery tower of 22 meters in diameter.

The palace of the Governor, conscript in the past General-Kommando, is a residence built in Metz, between 1902 and 1905, to serve as pied-a-terre to the emperor Guillaume II. It is located small public garden Giraud in the southwest of the district of Metz-Centre, but rest historically bound(connected) to the imperial district further east. The Palace is registered on the additional inventory of historic monuments since 1975.
