Come discover this roof of 1889, recently reintegrated in its original case.

Commissioned by Hector Moinel, and executed by the painter and master glassmaker Ferdinand Gounon in 1889, this interior glass was designed for advertising purposes to decorate the front door of the shop of this pastry shop.
It is part of a decorative ensemble designed by Ferdinand Gounon, specialized in glass portraits, religious stained glass and apartment decoration, whose workshops are close to 10 rue des Soeurs Macarons.
This advertising window was highlighted by the master glass maker Mylène Billand and the Confiserie Lefèvre-Lemoine in 2020.
Building by nature, illegitimately dismantled in 1983, this glass roof has today reintegrated its original architectural framework at 10 rue des Soeurs Macarons. It has been protected as a historic monument since 2021.

Musée Fours des Sœurs Macarons
10 rue des Sœurs Macarons, 54000 Nancy
  • Meurthe-et-Moselle

The building dates from the first quarter of the 18th century. Located in one of the oldest districts of the city, behind the cathedral, the Rue des Soeurs Macarons (formerly rue de la Hache) housed, until 1982, one of the oldest pastries in Nancy.
Since 2019, the ground floor of the Sisters Macarons House is now naturally dedicated to the development and transmission of Nancy’s gourmet heritage.
The house of the Macaroon Sisters houses the museum Fours des Soeurs Macarons created by the Confiserie Lefèvre.
