The church of Saint-Martin de Pompierre was rebuilt in the 19th century but the Romanesque portal dating from the first building of the 12th century has been preserved. It is the most beautiful example of Romanesque sculpture in Lorraine. In good condition of conservation, it testifies to the influence of Burgundian sculpture in the region at this period. The theme of the tympanum is the Adoration of the Magi in the centre and the Massacre of the Innocents in the upper part. The lintel, on the other hand, represents Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem.
