A dossier exhibition will make you discover an amazing complex built between 1878 and 1890.
Did you know, for example, that the Casino was the first modern building in Sarreguemines equipped with electric comfort?

About the location

Le pavillon de Geiger
Rue du Colonel Edouard Cazal, 57200 Sarreguemines
  • Moselle
  • Grand Est
In 1880, Paul de Geiger, director of ceramics, had a pavilion erected to the north of the Casino. This building, pierced by a wide gate, still today marks the access to what has remained a vast recreational area.
The building’s architecture is typical of the 19th-century "eclectic" current that combines architectural elements borrowed from other eras: bricks, stone chains with angles and slate roofs evoke the French 17th-century pleasure castles. Unlike the nearby facilities (gardens, Casino), access to the building was reserved for the owner.
