«Rituels» is the second edition of the Metz Design Week proposed by the Modular association. A selection of Grand Est designers lend themselves to this rich and enigmatic theme.

Whether symbolic or situational, expressive or instrumental, the RITUAL summons a sum of rules and habits, constituting the recurrence. It is approached according to a process governed or chosen, soliciting the sacred and tangible elements that man appropriates to honor the ceremony. Society contains in its cultures and its histories an incalculable number of rituals that extend from the individual to the collective, presenting more or less strict rules. The RITUAL is then an inspiration to the object in the service of this custom whatever it may be.
