Discover this contributory event, between exhibition and dinner, where the work is the situation.

A contributory «Spanish inn» dinner where everyone brings what they want to share and an open-air vernissage that takes place on the hill of Sion, near the Barrès Monument.
A view of the valley allows you to enjoy an informal meeting and exchange with new people.
The work is the situation: it is based on a cyanotype tablecloth made previously as part of the festival l'écho du marteau (Sion). It is a canvas of 3 meters in diameter.
At nightfall, the artist Marianne Villière will offer you a listening time based on a series of sound pieces made since 2019 (En rêve*, réalité désirées, 1001 nuits, Marianne Villière).
Duration: 1 hour.

About the location

Monument Barrès - Colline de Sion

The Hill of Sion-Vaudémont, is located in the country of Saintois, in the south of the department of Meurthe-et-Moselle, in the Grand Est region. Culminating at an altitude of 540 meters, which makes it the highest point of the relief of the coasts of Moselle, the hill of Sion, by its history, its pilgrimage and its topography, is a major place of tourism Meurthe-and-mosellan - where there are small fossils in the shape of stars. The stars of Sion are fossils of marine animals (not mobile) of the secondary era, the sea lilies (also called inkins or crinoids), cousins of sea urchins and sea stars. The inkin was fixed to the bottom of the sea by a long rod, composed of articles in entroques, recalling the stacking of the vertebrae of the spine.
Administratively, the hill extends mainly on the territory of the commune of Saxon-Sion up to Vaudémont and overflows on that of several neighbouring communes. This hill is at the origin of the novel 'La Colline inspiré', published in 1913 by Maur
