Take a guided tour of one of the most remarkable churches in Eastern France and the largest in classical style in the Marne.
Discover the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption: considered one of the most beautiful churches of the seventeenth century in eastern France, its construction lasted 269 years (1629-1898). Inside, the exceptional clarity is due to the high windows and those in the shape of shell that surmount the arches in basket handle, quite rare in France. The 13 chapels contain beautiful altarpieces from the 17th and 18th centuries decorated with sculptures and paintings. The great organ of the eighteenth century is classified since 1963 and was originally built for the Cistercian abbey of Trois-Fontaines (35 km).
