How do you create a show? This visit of the Comedy offers a behind-the-scenes exploration of Chloé Dabert’s new creation, Le Firmament, to discover the professions of live performance and the secrets of a National Drama Centre.

The building(ship) of the current Comedy was inaugurated in 1969\. Arisen from the cultural decentralisation wanted by André Malraux, the Comedy of Reims was first a Community arts centre, a place open to all forms of artistic creation (cinema, opera, theatre, dance, music, exhibition(exposure)). Become National Arts centre for theatre (CDN), she(it) became attached principally to theatre. The architect Jean Le Couteur conceived(designed) a generous building(ship) in the overlapped volumes, resulting from a vertical and horizontal pronunciation of different functions(offices) of the building, and ending in a combination(overall) of multi-purpose(versatile) and adjustable spaces all visible(obvious) of the central home(foyer).
