Discover the Priory through an exhibition.

Come and visit the Priory of Châtenois, a superb Benedictine building dating back to the 11th century, which overlooks the town.
The exhibition «Le Moulin des Moines au fil du temps» will trace the history of the mill, which was originally part of the Priory.
Sale of buns and bread baked in the oven of the Priory.

The priory Benedictine was based(established) in 1069 and rebuilt in 1725-1727\. After the departure of the members of a religious order in the course of Revolution, the municipality saved from destruction the wing of the old(former) buildings(ships), today parsonage. The prieurale Romance church was demolished(destroyed) to make room for the current church Saint-Peter of type Grillot (1843).
