General Giraud’s little-known story told by his grandson.

A former student of the Naval School, Vice-Admiral (2nd Section) Hervé Giraud recounts with passion and erudition the story of his grandfather, General Henri Giraud:
From his beginnings as a field officer during the Great War, wounded, prisoner, escaped, to his successes as a peacemaker in Morocco and his role as governor of Metz, General Giraud was one of the main architects of the liberation of France, but remains one of those great forgotten figures.
