Back to the multicolored abnormal!

Our artists bombard the daily life with colours and invite us to discover their works without masks (finally!), or blinders (never!), for a fourth «extended» edition at the Ateliers illumines!
For the fourth surprise-packed edition of COLORS – Contemporary Urban Art Festival powered by Socomec, our team will once again be hosting our HQ from September 2 to 25.
The 2022 concept? To honour the work done last year by the creators who made their spraycans and brushes speak here, while proposing to about fifteen artists to tackle the other walls of the Workshops and vehicles or structures located on the square in front of the premises (we will tell you more about this soon). Of course, there will also be an important event Hors les murs with small and (very) large formats made in the Eurometropolis and in Sélestat (info to follow soon).
Novelty: this year, an immersive and playful space will allow the youngest to live a «journey in urban art», to understand its history and its stakes: «We make the wall?» (emanation of the eponymous edition of Sébastien Touache and Romain Gallissot).
COLORS is a unique festival in the Eurometropolis that offers in the space of one month, to discover graffiti and street art during an exhibition full of colors. Strasbourg under the bombs!
On the programme: 1 exhibition (indoor and outdoor) + 1 exhibition for young people «We’re making the wall?» + 1 bar + 1 ephemeral shop + one Outside the walls in the Eurometropolis and in Sélestat.
2022 artists: Spear (Belgium), Rouge Hartley (France), Niark1 (France), Chifumi (France/Cambodia), Etien (France), Bault (France), Lidia Cao (Spain), Camille Epplin (France), Pierre Reb (France), Stefan Winterle (Germany), Piet Rodriguez (Belgium), Salamech (France), Murfin (Spain), etc.
Open: September 2 to 25, 2022 – Only on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Vernissage: Friday 2 September from 6pm

«Les Ateliers Éclairés» is a creative third-place located in Strasbourg, in which computer-aided design and production, as well as visual and technological arts, mingle with craft practices.
Artists, artisans, designers, NGOs and associations train the permanent residents of this 1000m2 site including creative spaces, workshops, a Makerspace – Fablab open to the general public, a place dedicated to artistic residency, an A/V recording space, a garden, a co-working space and an immersive 360° projection dome.
Located 20 minutes by car from the station, 15 minutes by bike from the city center, this third place is an artistic, digital and artisanal center dedicated to professionals, but also a place open to the general public (notably via its Makerspace – Fablab).
The third-place makes it possible to carry out and prototype its projects, participate in workshops and workshops, organize corporate events and benefit from the advice of a cluster of recognized creative structures.
