Chapelle de l'hôpital Saint-Charles
Boulevard de l'hôpital, 52130 Wassy
Built in the 18th century, the hospital is built around the chapel, enhanced by its sculpted pediment. In 1843, an artist who was born in Saint-Amand-sur-Fion, Joseph Constant Ménissier created a fresco, which had disappeared, as well as 4 paintings representing important episodes in the life of Saint-Charles. Behind the altar, a skylight illuminates a statue of the Assumption.
