For the 100th anniversary of the manufacture, the museum is holding a summer exhibition that addresses technical issues while paying tribute to the people who were the actors of this fabulous epic.

When he decided to build the Glassware of Alsace in the aftermath of the First World War, René Lalique already had a full life as an artist behind him. With this glassware, he launches a new challenge: to make the beautiful accessible.
Today, nearly 250 men and women, including 7 best workers in France, continue to perpetuate the know-how at Wingen-sur-Moder.
Discover this adventure by going to see the summer exhibition.

The Lalique museum pays tribute to the inventor of the modern jewel and master glazier René Lalique (1860-1945) and opens on a rare universe between New and art deco Art. Contemporary creation is also presented and promoted know-how. Built on an old(former) active glass site between 1715 and 1868, the Lalique museum, conceived(designed) by the agency Wilmotte, emphasises the old(former) buildings(ships) and integrates perfectly with landscape.
