Built around 1120, the early church was rebuilt and enlarged in the 13th century but the porch was preserved. It was very early recognized as the most beautiful of Touraine with that of Loches (J.J. Bourassé - La Touraine 1851) and was classified as a historical monument in 1908\. Its originality lies in the abundance and variety of decors as well as in the diversity of influences. Inside, in the northern part of the entrance, one can discover, engraved on a stone district, an authenticated graffiti of the fifteenth, relating the death of Charles the Bold. In the church of Gothic architecture, one will note the sobriety and balance of forms as well as the quality of the material: this white tuffeau of Touraine with so fine grain. Finally, we will note the 12th century holy water stoup inscribed in the inventory of monuments and sites since 1965\.
