The church of Larçay was one of probably first churches based(established) in Touraine. It is possible to assume that there was a church from Ve century in Larçay. Except the base(basis) of the bell tower dating the XIIth century, the building was rebuilt and restored between the XVth century and the XIXth century. The church receives(holds) two fragments of stained-glass windows of the XVIth century listed(classified) "Historic monuments" and three paintings(boards) of the XVIIth century (of which the one on wood) registered on Additional Inventory. Other stained-glass windows were realised by the master(teacher)-glazier from Tours Julien-Leopold Lobin between 1852 and 1878.
