The church St Nicholas' Day was built between 1658 and 1659\. It is owed to Claude de Rouvroy, duke of Saint Simon (father of the mémorialiste Louis de Rouvroy, duke of Saint Simon). Plans were brought back(reported) of Spain and would have been drawn by the famous Italian architect Paladio. The church is famous for its baroque style and its numerous paintings(boards).
